Press the ink drop button to enter ink cartridge replacement mode; the carriage will move to the replacement position. Unplug the power cord.
Open the carriage cover and carefully remove the ink cartridge(s).
Use the included syringe to draw a small amount of cleaning fluid from the bottle.
Attach the small rubber tube of the syringe to the ink outlet port on the carriage.
Slowly inject 1–2ml of cleaning fluid into each ink outlet.
Repeat for each ink outlet one by one.
With the power still off, replace the ink cartridge(s) and close the carriage cover. Leave the printer to soak for 2–3 hours (longer for heavier blockages).
After soaking, turn the printer back on and run the printer's built-in nozzle cleaning cycle.
For best results and to maintain peak performance, repeat this process every 1–2 months.
