Product Description
The flight controller in this kit delivers up to 4A of drive current per channel, making it suitable for most brushed RC model motors, such as Hollow Cup 412, 612, 716, 720, 816, 8520, 1020, and standard brushed motors like N20, N30, and N50. Equipped with a gyroscope, the aircraft offers stable flight and easy control, with simple wiring that makes it ideal for DIY projects.
Transmitter Pairing
When the flight controller is powered on, its indicator light will flash. Turn on the transmitter; LED1 will remain steady, LED2 will flash, and the buzzer will sound. After 2 seconds, pairing will begin automatically. Once pairing is successful, the flight controller’s indicator light will remain steady. At this point, quickly push and pull the throttle; when LED2 on the transmitter remains steady, you can control the aircraft. To pair the flight controller with a different transmitter, you must press the small button on the board to complete the pairing.
Testing the Flight Controller Installation
1. Push the throttle to check if the propellers on the left and right motors are blowing air backward. If not, swap the two wires on the motors.
2. Push the throttle slightly and move the left/right rudder stick. When turning left, the right motor should accelerate; when turning right, the left motor should accelerate.
3. Hold the aircraft horizontally with the nose pointing forward. Apply a little throttle and rotate the aircraft left and right around your body as the axis. When turning left, the left motor will automatically increase power; when turning right, the right motor will automatically increase power. This is the gyroscope’s self-adjustment function. When installing the flight controller, ensure the component side faces the ground; otherwise, the gyroscope’s self-stabilization will have the opposite effect.
Note: When selecting a flight controller battery, choose one based on the operating current of the dual motors. It must have sufficient capacity and discharge rate to function properly.
