Function description:
Ensure correct polarity and power supply voltage. Connect power and fan for operation. Potentiometer fully counterclockwise for off, fully clockwise for maximum output.
The separate small adjustable resistor on the board (start-up speed adjustment) regulates the initial rotational speed upon power-up.
If fan speed changes in the opposite direction to adjustment, the fan is reverse-sequence type. Solder-bridge the (PF) setting point. Always disconnect power before operation to prevent damage! After bridging, the PWM signal will change in the opposite direction to adjustment, enabling forward regulation for reverse-sequence fans.
Important Notes:
This is a 4-wire PWM fan controller. It can only control 12V fans that support PWM speed regulation, such as many 12V 4-wire case or CPU fans. It cannot control 2- or 3-wire fans.
