This driver is a DC three-phase brushless control board. It requires motors with Hall sensors to function properly.

Special Notes for External Signal Input:
1. When connecting PWM signal input via the main board's P and G ports (set the on-board potentiometer to minimum and short-circuit the board's shorting terminal as shown in the diagram above), the amplitude should be 2.5-5V with a frequency of 50Hz-20kHz.
2. For external 0-5V analog input, connect via the two terminal ports on the main board (set the on-board potentiometer to minimum; wiring shown in dashed lines in the diagram above).
3. For external potentiometer speed control, connect to the corresponding three terminal ports on the main board (set the on-board potentiometer to minimum; wiring shown with potentiometer in the diagram above).
4. Forward/reverse and stop are controlled via a switch grounded to 0V (low-level active). Alternatively, an external MCU can provide a low-level signal. Braking is controlled via a switch connected to 5V (high-level active). All terminals in the front row carry low-voltage signals directly input to the MCU controller. Avoid contact with high-voltage or high-current sources.

Upon receiving the driver board, first verify that its interfaces match those of your brushless motor.
1. Brushless motors typically have a 5-pin Hall sensor ribbon cable or connector. Two pins are Hall sensor power supply lines, and three are Hall sensor signal lines. Distinguish them carefully, especially the Hall sensor power supply lines (usually red and black wires, though this may vary; if unsure, contact the motor manufacturer). Do not mix them up. The three Hall sensor signal lines are typically labeled a, b, c. The driver board has corresponding ports labeled ha, Hb, Hc, or similar characters. Connect them correctly.
2. The motor has three thicker phase wires. The driver board also has three phase terminals labeled MA, MB, and MC or similar characters. Connect them accordingly. Only after confirming all connections are correct should the main power be applied for normal operation. (If the motor still fails to operate normally after correctly connecting all terminals as labeled, it may be due to non-standard labeling by the manufacturer or other reasons. Proceed to troubleshoot per step 3: “Unclear Terminal Definitions” below.)
3. If the motor phase wires and Hall sensor wires are unclear, connect any three motor phase wires to any three phase terminals on the driver board. Similarly, connect any three Hall sensor signal wires to any three Hall terminals on the driver board (but you MUST identify and correctly connect the two Hall sensor power wires—this is critical!! !). Then, during the first power-up, debug using low voltage and low current (if possible, use a constant-current power supply set to 7-12V and 1-2A). Subsequently, randomly swap the order of the three Hall signal wires (swap any two of the three motor Hall signal wires with any two of the driver's Hall signal interfaces; test after each swap) until the motor runs smoothly after power-up, indicating correct wiring. There are 6 wiring combinations; refer to the diagram below.

MA MB MC Motor phase wires can be connected arbitrarily first and left unchanged; only adjust the Hall sensor signal wires.

If the three Hall sensor signal wires are swapped and correctly matched, the motor will operate with silky smoothness upon power-up, featuring stable low-speed startup and high torque. If the Hall signal wires are not correctly sequenced, typical symptoms include:
1. No response upon power-up, or only a brief jerk without normal rotation.
2. Slight vibration and difficult startup, sometimes requiring manual assistance to initiate rotation.
3. The motor may rotate in one direction but not the other, sometimes accompanied by a slight buzzing noise.
4. The motor exhibits significant startup vibration, lacks power, produces a buzzing noise, draws high current, and causes the power transistor to overheat noticeably.
