User Guide

Connect the serial port module to 5V-TX-GND (connect RX to the board’s TX). Connect the input to a 220V power source and the output to a 220V electrical load. Then plug the serial port module into the computer. You will notice the LED flashing rapidly, indicating that sampled data is being transmitted. At this point, open the host application “HLW8032_V1.2.exe”, select the correct port number (must be between COM1 and COM16), set the maximum current to the default 10A, and click “Open Port.” The host computer will then display the currently sampled data.
