- Blow-dry to 100% dry again.

- Using a flat iron at 450°F (230°C), take 1/8" sections starting at the nape and slowly move from root to ends 5–7 times (up to 10 for tightly curled hair). Reduce heat to 430°F for chemically treated hair.
- After 72 hours (3 days), wash with a sodium chloride-free keratin shampoo and conditioner.
