Working Principle: When connected to a 3-5V power source, the 37 LEDs are divided into 4 groups. Upon powering on, all 4 transistors attempt to turn on simultaneously. However, due to component variations, only one transistor turns on first. Assuming Q1 turns on first, the LED1 group illuminates. As Q1 conducts, its collector voltage drops, lowering the voltage across capacitor C2's left terminal to near 0V. Since capacitor voltage cannot change abruptly, Q2's base voltage also approaches 0V, causing Q2 to cut off. Consequently, the LED2 group connected to its collector turns off. At this point, the high voltage from Q2 charges capacitor C3, raising the voltage at Q3's collector. Q3 rapidly turns on, illuminating the LED3 group. Thus, for a brief period, both Q1 and Q3 have low-level collectors, lighting up the LED1 and LED3 groups. while the LED2 group turns off. However, as the power supply charges capacitor C2 through resistor R2, the base voltage of Q2 gradually increases. When it exceeds 0.7V, Q2 transitions from cutoff to conduction, causing its collector voltage to drop and illuminating the LED2 group. Simultaneously, the voltage drop across Q2's collector through C3 lowers the base voltage of Q3, causing Q3 to transition from conduction to cutoff. Its collector voltage then rises, causing LED3 to turn off. The circuit then cycles through the above process repeatedly, illuminating the three sets of 18 LEDs in sequence. At any given moment, two sets are lit simultaneously. These LEDs are arranged in a crisscross pattern forming a heart shape, continuously flashing in a loop to achieve a flowing display effect.
