Tips for Best Results

Clean and "tin" (coat) all faces of the tip with a thin layer of solder before first use.
Heat the parts — not the solder — then apply flux-core solder to the heated joint.
Note: A small amount of smoke may appear from the tip on first use — this is normal and will stop quickly.
