Automotive Circuit Tester Voltage Display LED Probe Kit 6-48V
Diagnose Car Electrical Problems Fast & Accurately
The Aermotor Automotive Electric Circuit Tester is a professional-grade power probe kit designed to make vehicle electrical diagnostics simple, safe, and reliable. With a built-in digital voltage display, tri-color LED indicator, and built-in buzzer, this tool helps mechanics and DIY enthusiasts quickly identify circuit faults, test polarity, check continuity, and trace short circuits — all in one compact device.
Made in Mainland China.
Key Features
- Accurate Digital Voltage Display: Measures DC voltages from 6V to 48V, delivering precise readings on a clear digital screen — far more reliable than traditional analog testers.
- Overload Protection (8A Auto Cut-Off): Automatically cuts power when current exceeds 8A, protecting both you and your vehicle's electrical system from damage.
- Built-In Buzzer & LED Indicator: Red LED = positive voltage; Green LED = negative voltage. The audible buzzer provides instant feedback even in dimly lit garages or engine bays.
- Extra-Long 4.5m (15 ft) Cable: Reach from the front battery to the rear of the vehicle without re-grounding — perfect for testing hard-to-reach circuits.
- Multi-Function Testing: Handles continuity testing, voltage polarity detection, short-circuit tracing, ground integrity checks, component testing (online & offline), and jumper operations.
- Wide Compatibility: Works on most 6V–48V DC automotive, motorcycle, RV, truck, and marine electrical systems.

How to Use
- Connect the red clamp to the battery positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (–) terminal. The display will immediately show the battery voltage.
- For polarity detection, touch the probe tip to any unknown contact — Red LED = positive, Green LED = negative.
- For continuity testing, clamp the auxiliary ground clip to one end of the wire and touch the probe to the other end. A green LED confirms the circuit is complete.
- For ground integrity testing, press the button to the (–) position and touch the probe to the component's ground point. Green LED + buzzer = good ground.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What vehicles is this automotive circuit tester compatible with?
A: This circuit tester is compatible with any 6V–48V DC electrical system, including standard 12V and 24V cars, trucks, motorcycles, RVs, ATVs, and marine vessels. It is not suitable for AC systems or voltages above 48V DC.
Q: Does the circuit tester require batteries to operate?
A: No, this circuit tester does not require batteries. It draws power directly from the vehicle's electrical system via the battery clamps, making it always ready to use without the need to carry spare batteries.
Q: What does the overload protection feature do?
A: When the current flowing through the tester exceeds 8 amps, the automatic cut-off function activates and immediately disconnects the circuit. This protects both the tester and your vehicle's wiring from damage due to short circuits or accidental overloads.
Q: Can I use this probe kit to test components while they're still installed in the car?
A: Yes. The Aermotor circuit tester supports both online (in-circuit) and offline component testing. You can test bulbs, motors, relays, switches, and sensors while they remain connected to the vehicle's wiring harness, saving time on diagnostics.
