How It Works

In an automobile ignition system, the high-voltage ignition coil generates 10,000+ volts. The spark plug channels this high-voltage energy into the engine cylinder, where the spark ignites the fuel-air mixture. How to Use

1. Power OFF the unit before inserting any spark plug.
2. Place your spark plug(s) into Hole 1 and/or Hole 2. To compare new vs. old, insert the new plug in Hole 1 and the old one in Hole 2.
3. Connect the power adapter to a mains outlet (AC 100–240V).
4. Turn the key switch clockwise to power on — the indicator light will illuminate, and the tester operates at 1,000 RPM.
5. Continue turning the key switch clockwise to increase the frequency up to 5,000 RPM and observe spark strength.
