How It Works — Step-by-Step

Step 1: Enter Learning Mode

1. Set the gearshift lever to "P" (Park).
2. Turn the ignition switch to "ON" (do not start the engine).
3. Navigate to the tire pressure display screen using your DIC (Driver Information Center).
4. When the DIC shows "Press Set/Ctrl to re-learn", press the Set/Ctrl button.
5. The turn signal will flash for 3 seconds and the horn will beep twice — you are now in learning mode.

Step 2: Read Tire Pressure Sensor Information

1. Begin at the front-left wheel.
2. Hold the EL-50448 antenna against the valve stem area, close to the tire sidewall rim.
3. Press the start switch on the tool.
4. A single horn beep confirms successful sensor reading.

Step 3: Repeat for Remaining Wheels

1. Repeat Step 2 for the front-right, rear-right, and rear-left wheels in order.
2. When all four sensors are learned, the turn signal will flash for 3 seconds and the horn will beep twice to confirm completion.
