How to Install

1. Turn off your computer and remove the side panel from your PC case.
2. Find the appropriate cable routing hole at the rear of the chassis and feed the cable through to the inside.
3. Locate the front panel header (jumper) positions on your motherboard for Power SW, Power LED, Reset SW, and HDD LED. Remove the existing jumpers and replace them with this switch's connectors in the same positions. Ensure Power LED+ and HDD LED+ positive terminals are correctly oriented.
4. If you wish to keep your existing front panel buttons working simultaneously, use a 1-to-2 splitter adapter (purchased separately, depending on your motherboard socket spec).
5. Double-check all connections, power the system back on, and verify all functions operate correctly. Tidy up the cable with ties and position the external switch wherever is most convenient.
